Guide to Word Games
The word games on this page cover several skills. Daily Word Guess and Hangman are guessing games: you narrow down a hidden word from feedback. Word Search is about spotting words in a grid. Word Scramble, Word Wheel and Letter Hive are about rearranging letters into words of your own, with Letter Hive and Word Wheel giving you a full list of possible words at the end.
Word Groups is a categories puzzle instead of a spelling puzzle: you sort sixteen words into four groups. Typing Test is a skill game that measures your speed in words per minute.
For beginners, Word Search and Hangman are friendly places to start. Daily Word Guess gives one new puzzle a day plus a practice mode. All the word games use the game’s own word list, so an unusual real word might be rejected.
