Four in a Row
Four in a Row is a strategy game played on a tall grid. You and the computer take turns dropping a disc into one of seven columns; the disc falls to the lowest free square. The first player to line up four discs horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins. There are three computer levels, you can move first or second, and Undo takes back your last move together with the reply. Tips and Strategies The centre column gives you the most lines. Watch for threes that are open at both ends. Build two threats at once so the computer can only block one. Pay attention to the squares above a threat: a blocked square can give the computer a winning move. Use Undo to explore alternatives while you learn.
